Dr. Barry Lycka, BSc’78, an Edmonton-based dermatologist, was recognized with the Consumer Choice Award in Cosmetic Surgery for the 10th consecutive year. He is an assistant clinical professor of dermatology at the University of Alberta, teaching medical students and other health-care providers. Barry is also the founder of The Canadian Skin Cancer Foundation, former vice-president of the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery, and founder of The Ethical Cosmetic Surgery Association.
