Black is new board chair
Douglas J. Black, Q.C. is the new chair of the Board of Governors of the University of Calgary. A member of the board since 2007, Black is vice chair and senior counsel of Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP and a prominent community leader, holding positions including chair of the Michaelle Jean Foundation, president of the Energy Policy Institute of Canada and governor emeritus of The Banff Centre.
